With this ESL worksheet, students will learn phrasal verbs related to regrets and moving on.
The first 6 phrasal verbs (e.g. dwell on, beat yourself up, look back, move on) are introduced through a short dialogue. Students match the phrasal verbs to their definitions.To practise, they complete 6 sentences with the correct phrasal verb.Then, students are given 5 conversation questions and are asked to discuss them, using a phrasal verb from this lesson.
Next, the rest of the phrasal verbs related to regret (e.g. miss out, let down, live with, put behind) are introduced through a short text.To practise, students paraphrase 6 sentences, using a suitable phrasal verb.
The last 2 activities are focused on speaking. First, students are given 5 talking points.Finally, they are asked to role-play 3 situations.
